Welcome! Thank you for joining us for the first annual Torendi Earth Day Blog Hop! This is actually our first official Torendi Blog hop as well! So exciting! We all know that paper crafting may not be the most eco-freindly craft but we can do our part to help make it more friendly to the environment. All the Torendi DT members have projects on their blogs today and the only "requirement" was that it be related to the Earth in some way. It could be a "recycled" project, a card to celebrate the day, or maybe even a layout about planting a garden.
For this project I decided to upcycle my face moisturizer container. The packaging stickers came off SO easily and it was also a breeze to clean!
Have you seen this technique before? I learned about it taking Claudine Hellmuth's class at CHA and wanted to share. I took a scrap piece of Bam Pop paper (notice scrap..that's being Earth friendly but not wasting those tiny pieces of paper) and placed it face down on to the sticky side of Claudine's Sticky Back Canvas. You then wet the paper and rub it off. The images is now on fabric!! How cool it that?!
Here is my finished project!
A better view of the lid and new Bam Pop "fabric".

So before I send you on your way to see our FABULOUS Spotlight designer Beth, let me tell you what we are "playing" for!
If you want to join in the Earth friendly fun, our CHALLENGE to you is to make a project that has some sort of "recycled" materials in it and link it back to us in the comments below. You will be entered to win some Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Chipboard. Please have all entries in by next Thursday, April 29th.
If you just want to leave some love on ALL the DT blogs today (including this one), you will be entered to win some "Fresh Mix" Veggie Felties. There are 2 sets of Felties up for grabs. All winners will be announced Friday April 30th.
Ok now off you go to see Beth's blog! HAPPY EARTH DAY!
